Food- This was my first time at this restaurant. The food was pretty good. The queso fundido was a great appetizer. It had chorizo, pico de gallo, and a green/avocado salsa. It came with 3 handmade flour tortillas. The green enchiladas were average. I feel like it tastes similar to other places. However, the rice and beans were so good. My boyfriend got the octopus and DAMN it was huge. It was SO GOOD. If you like garlic, butter, and lemon then it's the plate for you. Atmosphere- The inside of the restaurant was nicely themed. As my boyfriend says, "good vibes." We personally loved the music. They played all reggaeton. There were plenty of tables and everything was clean.

My husband and I have driven by La Llorona plenty of times and we finally decided to try it on a Sunday night. We were told that this place just opened 3 weeks ago, so there wasn't a lot of people, there was some items on the menu that wasn't available, and there wasn't a physical drink menu yet. The ambience of the restaurant was very unique and decked out in neon colored decor, which is perfect during Halloween season. Also there was Hispanic pop music playing, which I was happy listening to as we waited for our food. The overall ambience of the place made it exciting to try the food. The food itself is what you would typically find in a Mexican restaurant. We really liked the ceviche and tortillas. The only thing I was disappointed about was that my order was wrong- I ordered 3 tacos- chicken, fish, and carnitas. Instead of chicken, I got shrimp, which I'm not a fan of for my tacos. I ordered a mango margarita, which cancelled out my disappointment, and the drink was really good. I'll give this place another try maybe for lunch or breakfast. I understand that this place is very new, so I have faith that once it picks up, more food items will be available and hopefully my order won't be wrong next time.
